So, in the process of beginning this journal, I decided to make a quick "this is me" list. Here is is, courtesy of Sobriquet:

1 - I'm female, fifteen years old, and live in Orange County, California. My main online name is Sobriquet, or Sobriquetrose, but most people refer to me as Sobri.

2 - I'm slightly obsessive. Whatever it is-books, anime, manga, video games-chances are that if I'm involved in it, I'm really into it.

3 - I'm an avid writer: roleplaying, fanfiction, even a bit of original stuff. If it pops into my mind, I write it down.

4 - My current favorite fandoms are Vampire Knight, Gakuen Alice, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, xxxHOLiC, and Code Geass. Some old favorites I'll never let go of are Fruits Basket, the Twelve Kingdoms, and Cardcaptor Sakura.

5 - I love, love, love video games, but I'm mainly a Nintendo fangirl. So, Wii and DS FTW! (Especially Super Smash Bros. and Zelda. Chances are, if I'm not on the computer, I'm playing one or the other.)

6 - The characters I most relate to are Ruka Souen, from Vampire Knight; Hatsuharu Sohma, from Furuba; and Yoko Nakajima, from the Twelve Kingdoms. I see different parts of myself in each one of them, but, if you mashed a few aspects of each of them together, you have a picture of what I look like.

7 - I'm a literature, fantasy, and history fanatic. As in, I spend my days drawing out family trees and timelines from 16th century England, have read things like Anne Bishop's Black Jewels Trilogy more than thirty times, and if I'm not reading something, I'm not happy.

8 - Temperament wise, I'm slightly arrogant, obsessive, and hot tempered. I also enjoy meeting new people and usually have something or another to say on just about any topic. (The ones that matter, at least.)

9 - I'm going to Japan in December for ten days. My mother's company is having a conference, and I get to go since I fulfill an assistant's role at her office. I am very excited, to say the least, so expect a lot of planning and updates about that trip.

10 - If you want to friend me, feel free. Just comment and give me an actual reason. I don't want a bunch of people I have nothing in common with seeing everything I write, got it?

Other than that, if you have an interest in my life, thank you. It's nice to know that people care. Expect more updates from me in the future!
